Indeed......I was implying Ted Williams type talent as a "great hitter".....Katz, Rhymes, and Bregman are great hitters at this level.

This is a very unique team and hard to peg. We will find out plenty about them over the next few weeks. Just stating the obvious, I know, but I'm looking forward to following them and pulling for them HARD!!!!

This team played their best so far this season at the end of March and the beginning of April. They'll be fine, though.

What about the fact that we didn't score after the first inning yesterday. Could that have some insight on the situation?
I'm not saying that I think this team is going to lose. It seems like everyone on here is trying to insinuate that is what I mean. I was just asking why aren't we hitting the ball like we did the last 2 series. Some people like to get their panties in a wad don't they.

Because teams don't play at a constant level, they play up and down. You'd think anyone who has watched sports for a couple years could figure this out.

No shite. I was over that loss about .00002 seconds after it ended. The SEC tournament don't mean dick. The coaches know it. The players know it. Most sane fans know it.

I think this team can make it to Omaha even with the way they are playing now, but it wouldn't surprise me if a few games ended up like this one in a super regional where we just can't find any runs. The whole "this game didn't mean anything" attitude is kind of retarded as well. That was the normal starting line-up with our best starter pitching out there. They weren't just phoning the game in. Hopefully the intensity and atmosphere of a baton rouge regional will light a fire back under this team and they'll start rolling through teams like earlier in the season.
Beyond hope...sad, it really is...
