Very much so because we almost had Tom Herman, Jimbo twice and many wanted Napier. Very fortunate to have him.

Too much gets made of this. I remember some national sports show proclaiming matter-of-factly that Billy Napier was a 'much better fit' at Florida and would have success quicker at Florida than BK at LSU.

Even that Knuckle Dragger, Orgeron, could win a Championship here, his third year.
He couldn't lead another SEC team to a winning record. Must be something remarkable about LSU, wouldn't you think?

Woodward made a very good choice. A proven winner is what was needed for the abortion left by orgeron. Im thankful we didn't go with napier, i don't think he was ready for a big job like lsu or florida. I know kelly will have us competing soon. Not that far away.
