We'll which is it? Should we pass more or do we have a QB who is undeveloped? Surely it can't be both.

Actually to me it sounded like the defense was the problem in the second half. I had to listen to the game on the radio.

I guess the defense getting tired had nothing to do with our conservative offense not doing much in second half...it's amazing how that happens

I think Miles wanted me to lose $250. Fire Miles.

But seriously I think those fricking cow bells had something to do with the run heavy offense. The commentators said a few times that you couldn't hear anything from 5 ft away in the second quarter.

Anyone at the game able to confirm?

Not really. MSU started moving the ball before the half and then again after the half. This is when the defense is supposedly rested because the offense was so open in the first half. Then they rested during halftime.

Your theory doesn't hold water at all.

shouldn't you also give him credit for putting the team up 14-0 in the first place?

I think everyone had their biggest weiners of all time when lsu went up 14.

What happened after that was more of the same shite from years past

Its kinda crazy... Lets see...Fla.St. Didn't pass the ball well yesterday so they went with their horse and he ran for 266 yds and 3 td;s..FSU wins and the fans are happy...

Uh, FSU won by 20 and their coach didn't let the game come down to one kick. Big, big difference.

THIS! Considering how the game ended, it's fair to say that MSU beat themselves.

I've said it a million times. They'd rather see Les Miles lose than LSU win

Which is why Coach Miles is an evil genius troll for deliberately giving the poor kid TWO CHANCES to fail, right?

I will never get this... YES. it would be great for LSU to look like Baylor on offense and still have the same kind of D.. But it doesn't work that way.... I know this... LSU is 1-0 and has a great shot at being 2-0... Then lets see how things play out........

To the OP, the answer is no, MState lost the game when they dropped a wide-open 2 pt conversion and missed the game winning FG.
