This was the best team LSU has played in an opening series during the Mainieri era
LSU has good players but there is going to be a lot of fidgeting to find the right combinations. Not totally uncommon as that happens most year

Fact of the matter is we could’ve lost all 3 games this weekend and it wouldn’t have hurt our postseason positioning. This year, like every year that has come before, will come down to what we do in conference. Period. End of story.

Don't know what Indiana will be this year but in past years they've been a solid baseball program. Shouldn't hurt us. LSU did kinda lull to sleep in that 3rd game though. Their approach to the plate was awful. Still early though. But no, shouldn't hurt us.
