It was definitely something I'll never forget. I still get chills thinking about it.
I wish I still had that hook up, but he didn't need us for the bama game. Haha!
And I'll just say this, I met Buga, and he is HUGE! Literally built like a veteran NFL running back

do wish they would put a noise decibel meter up, like the Deaf Dome (that's basketball for those of you who don't know). It seemed like the crowd would always get louder when it was rocking just to try to get it to read higher.

Nah. No need for such added cheeziness.

If it did, the difference is probably very minimal. It was not discernibly louder against OM than it was against Bama or South Carolina in 2012, Bama in 2008, or UF in 2007.

The Dome was louder for Green Bay the next night IMO. Both were rocking.

Was an awesome weekend

It was the most consistent noise I've heard in a long time.

Loudest moments that I've been part of were any bama game since '08, Florida '09

That sheer wall that is now the south endzone is intimidating as shite and does hold the sound better. It was def loud for Ol Piss.

I was in 303 on Row 2 and it was deafening. That was my first time sitting that low so I cannot compare it to other games, but I had trouble hearing for a couple of days after

It was loud as hell even with 95% filled. Imagine 100% filled for this game, it will be loudest ever!!!

According to Hannagriff and Ott-yes, significantly louder. I personally thought the Ole Miss game was like being in a jet engine. It was almost too much-I couldn't go to bed until 3am because I was so over-stimulated, my heart was racing.

Florida 2007 hit 129.8 on the decibel reader which is insane. I had mine out for Ole Miss, and it hit 122.9 at peak but constantly was around 110. That and the Saints game were two of the more recently loudest games.

I was on the field for the ole miss game. My bro in law hooked me up, and was able to be part of the firework crew.
Thanks for scaring Mike

Will do for sure. Tiger Stadium and the Superdome are pretty much close together. The dome has 30,000 less, but the roof helps keep the noise in. Both places are the two loudest venues I've ever been to. I think this game or possibly even the Saints game could flirt with a 125 peak. I think both will constantly be at 110 and above for good portions of the game.

I agree with this. More fans and the addition traps more noise I would think.

Also, isn't it likely we've likely "moved the earth" a few more times since that Auburn game? There just isn't a seismograph on campus to measure earth movements anymore...

make it a game and everyone plays. Part of the crowd experience. WOuldn't be a bad idea (even if it were fake and being controlled by a person).
