Many factors here

SB could've been consumed in the moment this weekend.
LSU wasn't that good for sure.
LSU had a terrible weekend while SB had a great weekend.

But we were pretty good in 1 run games, so there's that.

I think he had a good point. Of all the sports, baseball is the one where it would be most likely that a college team could knock off an MLB team. Not because of the talent, but just due to the fluky nature of baseball. You get a hot pitcher like Garrett Cole or Strasburg, and they could have shut an MLB team down.

They achieved what they wanted to IMO. The O sign they kept throwing was to GET to Omaha. Kinda like saying we're going to the Dome. The goal should be to win, not just get there.

Now does everyone see that we lost the Supers and they didn't win them. We played like shite so a crappy team was allowed a free ticket to Omaha.

Now look how they repay us! Bunch of unappreciative assholes if you ask me.

yeah i thought about that but still a 18-21 year old kid facing a pro lineup.. i just don't know how long he is going to dominate..

i can see tho what he meant by his reference in terms of having a chance compared to other sports.

but these pro teams have the best of the best pitching at every phase, starting, relief, closing.

plus are we using wooden bats in this game?

and did the O's really lose to a junior college team? maybe they didn't care to try or were throwing a bunch of scrubs for positions?
