I think Miles made the decision based on his opinion that Jefferson gives LSU the best opportunity to win the MNC. My opinion is that both quarterbacks are average at best. I am glad we will not have this discussion next year.

Tebow went in the 1st and Jefferson is better than him in all the measurables.
Are you suggesting JJ will be a first rounder?

We all love Lee. Miles gives the impression that it is up yours....fans. I will do what I want. Does not seem to be what is best for the team. Team is accepting it, so let's just hope Miles doesn't screw up a great team with his ego. We have the team!

quote:No. What is wrong with giving JJ same reps as JL. JJ brings a little extra to the table and needs reps with the offense too. Why is it so hard to leave the PT to the coaches?

I don't disagree with you, except is makes ZERO sense to put your #1 quarterback at risk in the second half when you are ahead 32 points.
Why did Miles do it?
He pissed in J. Lee's face. But more so, in the fans that were upset with his decision to start JJ.
There is no other way to rationalize it.
Miles is an arrogant a-hole to the fans, and he's proud of it. If you listen to what HE says, there is no mistaken of it.
If we lose any game this year, it will be because of HIS arrogance.
We have the players, we have the coaches to win it all.
Let's hope and pray his ego doesn't get in the way.
I both love, and fear, our coach. I can't be any more honest than that.
Go Tigers!

Was disappointed, Lee led by example and put up some awesome results. If we win out it takes away from the second guessing. If we stumble, will be a sore spot.

Shame on you Les Miles.

Go figure.
I'm sure no matter what CLM does, somebody will disagree. I'd prolly trust my own judgement, sorrry Rant.

Again, I'm not saying JJ will go anywhere near the 1st round, but I don't think his weaknesses will scare off teams as bad as some might think. And his positives will be attractive. Somebody will take a chance on him.
You're on. I'll lay 4 figures. This is going to be easy money.

Why shouldn't he have that attitude towards a fanbase that wanted him fired 2 years ago?

Lee had his chance to step up in Bama and regressed into 2008 form. We all knew that throwing off his backfoot and fading from contact would catch up with him. He's a great backup bring him to play a series or two,,,make the fanbase happy ride JJ to the championship in New Orleans. What a picture that will make alot of so called tiger fans mad. A picture of J.J. and J. Lee holding up the championship trouble smiling, laughing and hugging each other. The rant will explode.

As far as from a personal view, it has hurt him in my eyes, but you can't argue with his success.

I really got tired of thinking that miles had to baby lees psyche through all this. Oh no JJ is back and Lee just got his confidence back oh no! Lees a senior and a grown arse man. Even though he's a QB he shouldn't need to be coddled. Just man up and play.
