What are you talking about? You're saying the reason he's not as quick is because you see that he's not as quick?
100% backwards
I'm saying the reason it looks like he's not as quick is because he's not as quick.

So you’re basically just restating the exact same observation everyone already made..he’s not as quick...., and then acting like usually it’s muscle, not fat,.. is some kind of deep analysis.
100% backwards
I'm not suggesting it's a deep analysis. In fact, I'm suggesting is a very simple, obvious reason that his production has fallen off.

You’re literally just saying forget the injury history… he just decided to stop working out and became slower for no reason.
He doesn't look hobbled to me. He looks like he has no burst.

On a multimillion-dollar SEC program stacked with elite trainers, strength coaches, and recovery staff, this kid and the entire staff somehow just let it happen? Injuries (toes/foot as a freshman, ankle issues after that) are the actual documented factor that wrecked the juice he had early on.
basically. It has happened before. On paper, it might make total sense to put on weight. On the field though, losing half a step and the ability to evade defenders is the difference.

Blaming muscle like nobody could do anything about it is a weird way to avoid the obvious.
The funniest part about all of this is I think even you admit the problem is he lost his quickness/speed/burst. You are just very emotional about it.

A lot of running backs gain weight and lose their burst.
