Did LSU fans make noise during the moment of silence?

There's always a couple morons cheering during moments of silence, but it was very quiet.

I sit in the west upper, and in my opinion, it was as quiet as 93k people could possibly be.

I can promise you 100%, absolutely not. Yeah, there are usually a few jackasses that scream something in the moment of silence, but even I noted that on Saturday it was so silent it was eery.

Arkansas fans that have to make up stories and lie to make themselves feel better are absolutely pathetic.

I sit in the North endzone, and there was a woman next to me crying. As the announcer was talking, she started clapping softly, then stopped, then started again, then stopped.

You could tell she was grateful that we were having a moment of silence for Garrett, but was very emotional. However, she wasn't making a ton of noise.

After the moment of silence, Alma mater, and Star Spangled Banner ended, we started talking about Uekman and she said that she had just lost her 6 year old a while back. I didn't go into it too much with her, as I actually began to well up myself.

I didn't hear anything in our area, but really someone is complaining about this? I am not doubting it their are disrespectful ppl everywhere in this fricked world. But hell LSU didn't even have to acknowledge it. Why can't they just say hey that was very classy of LSU to take time to do that and be done with it.

i've been attending games since '87 and that was one of the quietest moments in tiger stadium i've heard. very respectful.

Not where I was sitting in the south endzone. I can tell you that the majority of hog fans around us didn't take off the hats for the national anthem though. Bunch of disrespectful inbreed rednecks.

Everyone here pretty much hit the nail on the head. I was in the NEZ and it was very quiet. The exception was about two or three very distinct and very loud "wooooooooo"s that happened. That being said, 3/98,000 is still an amazing a-hole/decent human being ratio.
