Because he's nuts?
I don't know him personally, but the buzz seems to be that he is unstable. Add to that that he came out strong in favor of the kneelers, and who wants to deal with that? Lastly, he plays a position that the NFL teams have devalued. Unless he's a great back like Fournette, which he is not, than teams aren't going to waste their high draft pick on him.
I expect he'll go in the second round. If he doesn't than teams are seeing something. I'll go back to my original guess, he's nuts.

Work smart not hard. Be skilled at the “game” not naive and idealistic. You should read the Art of War.....you’d gain a lot of wisdom.

Yep.....

I really really hope he doesn’t get the Lael Collins treatment. While Lael has set the m$$n, it’s a tough road of humility and very hard work.

The NFL does not want elements they have to chaperone and while DC is not a likely bad person, he is a loose-lipped guy who they see as a potential shite stirrer. Fair or not, is what it is and it’s their sandbox.

What are you suggesting? That NFL teams can't choose how to spend their own damn money? What's wrong with the world is that snowflake millennials think they have a right to other people's money.
Guice sided with the Kneelers, and now he possibly made up a scandal to besmirch his prospective employer. What a friggin idiot!

Of course it is, El Chapamo......I suspect you are not what’s considered successful.

I think his choice of agent played a role, his comments may have contributed but could have been downplayed if they really like the player. Personality may remind some of OBJ, probably a turnoff when you think of the other top rb's available that do not have the supposed baggage.

Well we know this... Three teams are going to get major deals with Chark, DG, and Key if he keeps it together. I especially hate this for Guice though because he doesn't seem to deserve it.

So you don't want Guice with a murder charge hanging over his head, got it.

I love guice. think he's an awesome running back and he's fun to watch and he seems like he's a generally okay guy

but whoever his agent is needs to put a muzzle on his arse

the NFL draft is not a complicated exercise. If you are a great talent you are going to get picked early. all you have to do is not talk your way out of it

Its a business, first and foremost. You need to conduct yourself as you if are the brand and not do things that negatively impact your brand.

Guice seems to have overlooked or missed this point somewhere in this process.

This is a big part of his issue. I could see that at a position where a large portion of NFL teams don't value the position as much. Who knows what they demanded for their 1st client.

When you act a fool, party every night and have character issues it creates pause for teams. Hopefully he can learn form this and move forward and have a great career.

All he had to do was keep quiet or only say positive things. And stay off social media for awhile.
yep. Hard to believe his agent didn't make this happen. Or maybe he tried and Guice just did his thing anyway.

correct. Between the end of the season and the signing of the rookie contract, I literally would shut down all social media, I wouldn't go out to clubs at all, no drinking or smoking, and I would be very careful with what I say - to anyone.

All I would do is work out, prepare for the combine and pro day, and live like a librarian until the contract is signed.

You're on the verge of a life-changing event. Don't do ANYTHING that would give a team a reason to drop you on the their draft board.

Two things.

Why does the Rant care about where Guice gets drafted? Just to say LSU has 55 1st round draft pics but can't make the CFB Playoffs? Who cares? is he kicking back some coin to Tigerdroppings? Don't get the obsession over it.

The other thing is Guice is an idiot and his agent has lost control. While at LSU he was posted quite a few photos on twitter that clearly showed he had extremely poor judgement. The ATV, his Mom's car, etc.

Whichever rapper is Guice's agent should've kept him fully quiet. Guice is his own worst enemy and he is the only one to blame for his precipitous fall in the draft.

He's a good back, he will be productive in the NFL and seems like a nice guy but has absolute s for brains.

But why the hand wringing over where he is selected? What does it matter. It isn't going to win us a title.
