Cannon was also punter, place kicker. While in high school he ran 9.5 - 9.6 in hundred yard dash and threw the shot about 60'

FYI, Cannon played during "single platoon football" era. All players played both ways due to very restrictive substitution rules. Once a player left the field he could not return until the next quarter, other than last 4 minutes of 2nd and 4th qtrs.

Yep. Giving major props to Southern Miss and it's most famous grad, Jimmy Buffett (subject to debate depending on whether you are a music fan or football fan because of Favre). Never have understood why OM uses a song about preying on vulnerable tourist women at the beach as their rallying cry. It's so embarrassing I am not even going to say any thing.

Yes he did. I'd love to see this kid get a chance to truck Hurst.

Devin had two great stops on ST this one where he threw up the Landshark, and the one in the 4th quarter, where he flung the returner through the air off of the field

I assume he directed that at the Ole Miss section?

No, it was on the opposite end near the NEZ. I have a video of Guice doing the landshark thing and doing a "not tonight" hand signal before the game when the players pray in the SEZ.
