You know people can express their opinions without you being a total douche about it...which seems to be your go to method every single time. We get it...you love Miles....you hate everyone who doesn't...end of story.
I take it the sidewalk NegaTigers are growing increasingly weary of LSU alumni who relentlessly support our school and its most successful football coach of all time? Looks like they can dish it out....

It takes a big man to stand up for his school and its football coach, but it takes an even bigger man to stand up for people who never went to that school and "demand" that its football coach make them happy.

Deal with it. There's a good chance Miles is better than anyone else we'll ever see at LSU (his tenure at LSU is one of the 25 best-ever tenures of a coach at a school in the history of the sport). If you can't be happy with Les Miles, you can't be happy with LSU football.

trying to figure out how this would be a negative trait in my head coach.

Never understood why so many people need to convince themselves that Saban is an a-hole. Do any of you REALLY care how nice a man is whom you've never met, or is it just some kind of coping mechanism to explain away your own coaches shortcomings relative to Saban? I could care less if Saban is the most miserable, egotistical, vile human being on earth. He's not sitting at my dinner table every night. He's paid tons of money to win football games and avoid running afoul of the NCAA, which he does very well. Why give a shite about anything else?

Any LSU fan that claims they would pick Miles over Saban as a coach is either
I have $12, and there's a Wal-Mart within 50 miles of me. I'm choosing not to go. I'm choosing Miles.

Saban is there for anyone who wants to choose Miles over Saban. 99% of the state of Alabama roots for Saban without ever going to school in Tuscaloosa, and so can you. Follow your dreams and trust your winning mentality.

What, you win a championship that is the culmination of a years worth of time, work, sweat, and effort and your coach cant take 5 mins to enjoy his accomplishment with his team?

Knowing whether Mauck was coming back that night had no affect on the football team. Getting to enjoy their victory with their coach probably would have.

Sad thing is what does this say about his football iq??

Nothing, actually.

For some of you, though, your hatred of Les Miles says a lot about your inability to apply fourth grade arithmetic to real-life situations.

Obviously because Nick Saban is good at what the University of Alabama's athletic department pays him to do and because Saban's personality traits discussed in this thread have been proven irrelevant to his job's bottom line. I would do the same if Nick Saban were my team's coach.

She said she couldn't sleep for the headboard slamming from the room next door. Door to that room opens up and Bingo! It's Saban. He invites us in to meet his wife, they were both very nice, we had a hard time keeping a straight face. He may have lost the game, but he took care of business!

Friend of mine worked in Football offices for 2 years under Saban and 2 years under Miles. Miles was much more personable toward my friend - always a friendly smile or a brief, but kind, comment. He actually gave my friend a ride somewhere once and he had a lincoln towncar (I think) with a bunch of his kids stuff on the inside.

Saban on the other hand was always moving throughout the building when my friend saw him. Each morning he and my friend would pass by one another and my friend would always say, "Morning, Coach". Saban never responded. This happened for months. One day my friend saw him coming with his head down and decided he wasn't going to say anything. They passed by each other and then Saban stopped and said, "Hey! You not gonna give me a 'Morning, Coach' today? What the hell?!" My friend couldn't tell if he was joking or serious until Saban finally broke into a slight smile.

If he doesn't care then why the hell bother posting in this thread at all? Nobody is saying anything that he supposedly places any value on.

The man is just an a-hole, period. He sucks at life. That is why I don't like him-not because he left or because he wins at Bama or some other reason. He is just not a good person.

Don't care if the guy is an a-hole or not. By all accounts Bobby Knight and Vince Lombardi were huge dicks too but they won championships. Absent a coach doing something criminal, I could care less if they are friendly or not. I don't have to hang out with or be friends with the head coach.

If Saban has a statue, it's time to give a real coach a statue. Let's get Les's statue going, it's time to move into modern football times and put your best coach of all time in front of tiger stadium.

He had reason to worry. Marcus Randall, anyone?
