At this point I think he may just purposely be playing the heel to get the attention because he realizes he's on his way out. There's just no reason for anyone to go to these lengths of hypocrisy.

I hate to see it end this way for the guy. He was good for the game at one time, but now I don’t think anyone, even at ESPN, takes the man serious. Sometimes it’s even tough to watch.

I used to respect the guy. Years ago he made a video that I thought all college kids from all sports who were going pro needed to see. It was a passionate speech about the pitfalls of the world when you suddenly have money. Like, fast crowds, shady people, life with no boundaries, far away from family/friends, drugs, bad decisions, etc. It was a really good video and I respected him for that. Now he has moved so far away from the selfless dialogue of that video and moved to a self centered, pampered child that is upset because he's not getting his way with everyone and not everyone likes him any more. Time to turn out the lights Dick, the party's over.
