Of course he didn’t. Even if there was a tape he wouldn’t be able to hear it over himself talking.

Yeah, I heard the entire interview with Vitale. He is senile, I think.
He also failed to answer important questions and kept interrupting when he did not want to answer the important questions--1)Have you or anyone heard the entire tape; 2) What exactly is the charge against Coach Wade; and (3) What about the allegations surrounding Zion Williamson.
This whole situation is one of the worst, if not the worst, incidents of Vitale's career.

And no verification that it is actually an accurate transcript of the wire.
All of this is based on the word of a leaked report (presumably from the defendant's lawyer) that was given to a reporter.
It's very interesting to hear from people who proclaim what they "know" that Wade did. Nobody knows anything, except those who have listened to the wire.

And in the transcripts, the type of "deal" is never mentioned. It doesnt sound like a good thing, but without context that's all it is.

Look.....after spending 50 years on this earth I’m not looking to find solace in semantics or escaping prosecution through loose technicalities. Wade fricked up...everyone is doing it but we were stupid enough to discuss what can ONLY be interpreted as improper benefits over the phone. We alone put ourselves in the crosshairs ....and no one else.
DV is undoubtedly one of the most hypocritical assholes in the media today....but that’s a different kettle of fish all together.
