Yeah I know, just relaying what they said. They didn’t debate about it just mentioned the announcement they expect to be him going pro.
I don’t know if they have info, I doubt it, but they made it sound like they did.

he's gone. You typically wouldn't have a press conference to announce you're staying.

Mascona is likely telling the truth here but it means absolutely nothing in regards to the actual decision. For anticipated news events, such as this, it is pretty standard for watered down articles to be written for both outcomes so there is no delay in reporting. After the press conference is over these are edited to include quotes etc.
