Fontenot would be a big stay. Veteran leadership on the mound that could slide into a starting role if absolutely necessary or just stay at the backend.

I would send Gio packing before Beloso. Beloso has proven he can hit over .300 in SEC play. Gio has yet to prove anything in 3 years.

Agree with this one. Gio has rubber bands for hammies and is always hurt

Why on earth would Travinsky not be back after almost a whole year off?

Also really hope Gio; we saw what w difference maker he is

The problem is Beloso doesn’t really have a position so if he’s hits then great but if not he’s just taking up a spot.

DiGiacomo can play CF and has speed.

Isn’t Cody Reine the big kid from Walker?

Played against him in high school. Dude hit a walk off against us. Ball flew over my head in right field and I didn’t even move my body. I just turned my head and walked off the field for the last time.

I remember kind of excited about JT Wise. I was skeptical when Mainieri let him go. Boy was I wrong.

Speed doesn’t factor in when grounding out to 2B

I would think there is a chance he returns in 9 months but more likely out a year.

Yes

ETA: He’s always going to swing and miss a good bit. But if he could walk more, increase his OBP to go along with his power, he could be a useful player. It doesn’t mean he will definitely do it but the potential is there.

There are a lot of really bad opinions on who should be pushed out. Especially given that the numbers won't really dictate a lot of turnover.

There will be very little actual processing. Then a few guys could choose to move on. I just don't see JJ being too aggressive here unless a bunch of great players want to come to LSU. That's probably not realistic.

JJ said in his press conference that he had already watched film and told guys what to work on. That doesn't really sound like he's telling anybody to move on. On the other hand, when you start to see new names coming on board, I'm sure certain guys will make their own decisions based on the roster numbers and make up.
