Did you read the OP? According to him all he wants to do is at least get a chance to play and finish out a great senior season. NFL is probably 3rd on his mind now thanks to being underutilized.

You can fool a guy once, and he's been fooled twice with sweet talk of getting the TEs more passes.

They designed to get him 4 passes thrown to him in the Notre Dame game last year.

And McNeese uses their TE less than we do.

So barely above average. Solid!

Above average is well above the worse offense he's ever seen.

But keep moving the target.

Yeah. Imagine if we utilized a competent passing game?

This is what frustrates fans, the potential is there to be the best. But instead les is good with mediocrity.

Nic Jacobs says you're wrong.

Seriously? Did you guys all already forget that a TE recently left LSU, transfered to McNeese, and is now playing in the NFL?

Desean has spent a whole season longer at LSU, and has 4 more catches to show for it than what Jacobs had in 2. With the offense LSU runs, he isn't doing anything there. Miles doesn't know how to use athletic TEs like Smith and Jacobs, and it shows in their stat lines. Jacobs had 32 catches, over 400 yards, and 4 TDs in one season at McNeese. That was good enough to get him on an NFL roster. The same would likely happen to Smith.

Who is moving the target? He said:

It honestly baffles the hell out of me why any TE would ever sign with LSU under Miles. He wastes more offensive talent than anyone I've ever seen.

He did not say:

Above average is well above the worst offense he's ever seen.

See my above post. We already took one TE from yall and he did better than he ever did in that dinosaur offense that LSU runs.

And whoever said LSUs top 2 TEs have more yards than McNeese is smoking that good stuff.

We were #6 in scoring offense in the SEC this year. Keep up with the hyperbole.

How did that help us in the SEC West?

45 vs Auburn
21 vs Miss St
19 vs TAMU
17 vs Ole Miss
16 vs Bama
14 vs Arky

Outside of Auburn's horrible defense who just grabbed Steele of all people, we scoring 21 points or lower. We need to worry about OUR diivision, not the terrible SEC East.

Well according to you published stat sheet:

Your top TE has 10 reception for 104 yards and 1 TD
You #2 TE had 5 receptions for 58 yards and 0 TD

LSU:
Colin Jeter was 12 rec for 132 yards.
DeSean was 4 rec for 83 yards.

Your QB had 1666 yards passing. Harris had 2158.

Nic Jacobs has a job in the NFL(is he even in the league anymore?) because he is a good blocker and had a nice pro day. Not because McNese show cased him by throwing him 32 balls

Isn't it a violation for coaches from another school to contact players before they are released from scholarship?

This is what happens when you have 40 TEs on the team and forget that they can actually be used in the passing game. I guess the problem is that they are usually found in the middle of the field, an area that is strictly "off limits" for the LSU passing game

Who are all these pass catching TE you think are in cfb?

Right because lsu has had so much trouble with developing nfl talent.

4th in the sec in points per game ( 36th nationally)
3rd in the sec in offensive yards per game (35th nationally)

Our offense wasn't our problem this year.

IIRC, Foster Moreau won an award his last two years in high school for the best catch of the year. Saw a Vine of the senior highlight and it was an amazing catch. I understand Smith not playing if he isn't an efficient blocker, but what I can't understand is Moreau never getting a pass thrown to him all year. You would think he'd at least get several thrown his way next year.

(sorry for the hijack, I realize it's a DS thread)

Harris Stats for those games:

Alabama - 6/19 for 128 yards. We scored 16 points. In Alabama's last 6 games they gave up 6 points to the almighty Fighting Prescotts, 6 points to Charleston So, 13 points to offensive genius Malzahn, 15 points to SEC coach of the year, and 0 points to a CFP playoff team

Get the point. Alabama is making everyone their bitch now.

Arkansas - 21/35 for 271 yards
Ole Miss - 26/51 for 321 yards

I not sure you can say he underutilized Harris and our passing game in any of those three losses.

We were fifth in our on division in scoring offense moron.

Also in November we were 11th in the conference, last in our on division, in scoring offense.

We've already established way before that the defense was bad for LSU standards so you need to understand that the offense was bad as well.

WOW, a coach left for a higher paying job! Big freaking whoop! shite happens all the time. Remember yalls god, Nick Saban, leaving for Miami?
