Arky 07 was pretty bad.

1/9 I was in a bar in Honolulu, yeah it was surreal and terrible, but I thank God every day I wasn't here.

I went emotionally numb for a week after the Bama TD last year.

Me too. I still ball my fist when I think about it.

Josh Booty[ 15-38 with 4 picks]. This is with Josh Reed, Jerel Myers, Robert Royal, and Domanick Davis at his disposal. Un fricking believable.

I've seen many friends punch walls and scream MF so loud that it would make the devil blush. That's not my cup of tea. I got a little frustrated with O the past few seasons, but nothing to wild.

but I wasn't near as mad as Tennessee in 2005

So many people pick this one. I don't know. Given what was going on at the time and the fact that LSU's campus was a de facto evacuation center, I consider this the most forgivable loss in the Les Miles era.

January 9, 2012... the day in LSU football I'd pay to forget. I scared my girlfriend and my parents with my screaming and yelling. I'm a vocal fan and I get upset when the Tigers don't do well, but that night was bad.

At least for Tennessee 2010 we won the game...no matter how bizarre or infuriating.

the anguish from 1/9 easily tops them all for me.
I have never felt so absolutely let down by any coach, any team, as I felt that day.
Lesser, but similar events were:
The LSU bowl loss to Penn State
Last season's loss to Alabama in regular season
The LSU bowl loss to Clemson
The futility of it all defies all known forms of logic and justice and football coaching. I have never fully recovered from 1/9/12.

I would say 96 against bama. That was the first and only year I had season tickets from my friend who went to law school there. I hate Shaun Alexander to this day.

November 15 1997 loss to Norte Dame. If we had won that game we would have probably played in the cotton or some better bowl than the independence. Broke a TV and a sattelite reciever with the help of my dad. But oh how sweet it was when we beat their asses in the independence bowl.

I was at the Penn State game. One of their fans(Sanduskies) started bragging at the end of the game. My dad almost got in a fight with him. They were screaming at each other from the stairwells.

After the BCSNCG, it hurt so bad I cried.

1998 overtime loss to ole miss. I listened on the radio. it was a depressing season. I just knew we were going to lose. spend the whole game expecting the worst. LSU came roaring back at the end to send it to overtime. I was starting to believe. When Ole miss scored in OT but LSU blocked the EP I knew the game was ours. The season had sucked but at least I would have this. we drove down to inside the 5 only to lose on a 4th down deflected pass.

I was living at a camp in the middle of nowhere at the time. I provided work and they provided free lodging. Great deal for a grad student. They would rent the place out to retreat groups but they weren't within a 1/4 mile. After the deflected pass I stormed outside screaming profanities at the top of my lungs "GD, Motherf*cking sonofabitch, F@CK!!!" or something to that affect. Anyway, about 2 minutes later some people (retreaters) come running up. They were sure that anyone saying those things in that way had to have been injured in some horrific way. After I assured them that I was neither injured nor a danger to myself they left me alone. I probably walked around alone in the woods for an hour and a half before I had calmed down enough to not want to break stuff. Many a tree limb suffered a horrible demise that miserable afternoon. definitely my worst meltdown.

1988 @Ohio St. Seemingly had things in hand until Olive's late TD. I lost my drunken mind at a camp with my buddies. I yelled, screamed and kicked things for awhile. Then, I became withdrawn and quiet. Then, I passed out and pissed the bed.

09 ole miss "clock it"- I let out a "GOD FKING DAMNIT!" in front of my 6 yr old , 1 1/2 yr old twins and wife. I stayed up listening to post game calls till 1 am. left angry messages on the voice mailboxes of Miles, Alleva and Verge Ausberry. Ausberry called me back Monday afternoon. Incredibly nice guy and listened to me vent. I'll forever respect him for that. It was like a great customer service story. Much respect for him.

Believe it or not, mine was last year's Bama game.

Mett had been carving up their defense and eating up the clock the whole game, and he'd just made a bunch of huge 3rd down conversions with his arm. Then on the last possession, Miles suddenly decides go with the run and gets bloody nowhere, leaving an opening for Bama to pull a rabbit out of a hat.

I've always been a staunch Miles supporter, but that one really got to me. I'm still bitter.

I generally don't melt down, but I did shatter my remote while watching UAB dismantle LSU in the NCAAs in 2005.

The worst one I've witnessed is a guy in 2004 when JaMarcus overshot a pass on 4th down against Oregon St. The N bombs flew....

Oh, I was furious after 2005 Tenn. but in retrospect its a forgivable loss. I don't understand the goofballs who dwell on that game, esp since USC and Texas were going to the NC no matter what LSU did.

2009 Ole Miss is another one I don't understand the reactions. Really, if you're gonna be mad about it, be mad at how bad the team looked the entire game and getting dominated by OM. But getting upset bc a miracle last second drive didn't work out is silly.

Easily last years Alabama game.

I wanted to make it to the BCSCG so damn bad that year to make up for 2011.

Yeldon took the screen and ran it into the endzone. My knees went weak and i collapsed. I just laid there in the living room floor staring at an extremely random part of the wall and my mind was absolutely sucked of thoughts and emotion. It just sucked the life out of me like nothing i have ever experienced before. I fell asleep on the floor and slept there for 11 and a half hours.

Auburn game with Curly as coach (i think). We were up big and kept throwing interceptions and ended up losing the game. It was not nice. I was living in Alabama at that time.
