Heisman TD run in the rain/mud by Billy Cannon
vs #2 Ole Miss.
I was a teenager.
He was from Sulphur, which was local to me (Lake Chuck) at the time.
I thought he was great. He was also a track star, and could run sub 10 flat 100, which was high end at the time.
I was pretty disappointed when he got busted. I still followed him in the pro's, and a premier RB in AFL and then as TE with Oakland Raiders when they were the king of the NFL.
Now he is the dentist in Angola.

Hanging with the boy scouts after their duty, under the scoreboard, forget which end. I think it was the south. Always forgetting to cover my ears when the qtrs ended.
Bert Jones running a boot leg into the endzone. When I mean no one saw it, I mean no one. The fake dive up the middle was stacked. And as Bert crossed the goal line, the place erupted.

I can't name just one. There have been so many.
1- 1970 The Ole Miss BEATDOWN. I was in the southwest corner on the south upper ramp by the visitors side and the Ole Miss fans were throwing money at us to "go pay the refs" 61-17 and it was the refs fault.
2- 1971 The Notre Dame revenge. What a game and the atmosphere was out of control. National TV (when you could only be twice a year). It was a BIG ONE.
3- 1997 Florida After being lost in the wilderness for so many years and to finally beat them as the Number 1 team. I actually cried.
4- 1982 Florida State. It rained oranges.
Just to name a few. 1979 USC is not on the list because being the capitalist scumbag that I am, I sold my 4 tickets for $1200 and took my date and some friends to the Chalet Brandt and listened to it on the radio. Everyone in the restaurant was around our table in the 4th quarter but I was not in Tiger Stadium that night.

"Raining oranges and the Orange Bowl logo at midfield in TS."
Wasn't that the game against FSU that we got penalized a few times for throwing the (tons) oranges? I remember the end zone being full of oranges. And then the fog rolled in over the top of the stadium... too cool.

I will never forget stepping onto the field as a TB member to do my first pre game show.
For those who have never experienced it, it's just awesome.

My first game in tiger stadium was in 1984 vs. Ole Miss (32-29 LSU) ... i vividly remember watching the wave make it around the staduim about 10 times before dying out. The crowd was amazing, and I decided I'd attend LSU at that game.

First game attended...8 years old...Old Tulane Stadium...1964 Sugar Bowl...LSU vs. Syracuse...Bright sunshine and Cold...walked out the portal in the North End Zone and was blown away by the 84,000 plus in Purple, Gold, and Orange colors in the bright sunshine. Will never forget that moment.

The LSU Ohio St. game in '86... the buildup before the game was phenomenal... both teams waited each other out in the lockeroom... first play of the game Eric Hill decleated a TE running across the middle who maybe caught a 3-4 yd gain. TE tosses the ball at EH while still on his back and EH spikes the ball back at the guy on the ground. It was awesome. It was one of those "yeah motherfricker come get some" moments.

Auburn 1995. The "Bring Back the Magic Game".
Troy Twillie INT on final play. I'll always remember that.

this was more recent but
we were in Kentucky.
we drove there with no tickets. just college kids being fans of our team.
we scalped tickets.
we ended up in between the kentucky student section and band.
we got hounded the entire game.
we never sat and they hated it.
we got hounded until the very last play.
the entire stadium went completely quiet besides a very small section on the other side of the stadium.
we ran through the kentucky student section, around half of the inside of the stadium to get to the very small LSU section.
we jumped onto the field and got a Kentucky Cheerleader to take our photo next to the goal post.
Blue Grass Miracle
fricking boom Kentucky

<--- that dude get rocked on a punt return, jumping up immediately, and being more pumped up than the guy who just drilled him.

The sight of coach Bobby Bowden getting pelted by oranges as LSU crushes Florida State to go to the Orange bowl. Tigers, I believe lose to Tulane the next week in Tiger Stadium.
Coach Bowden gives the Tiger fans a "number 1 " salute.
