What makes yall think he's definitely a RB if he stays?

What did he do at rb in high school

He rushed for about 1,500 yds.
He was rated as one of the better running backs in HS, as well as a top safety.

BK and staff had already moved him to RB

Because he was a S and not a good one so they moved him to RB.

Another classic O whiff evaluation here. Blue chip recruit ends up not even being a S.

I was thinking he will come back due to the fact that he knows we are slim in the Safety room and he can assert himself and maybe become a starter.

I thought safety was the one spot in the secondary we looked ok in?

RB- if he gets enough reps in practice, he might play some. The bar for running back:
more explosive than Cain, less turnover-prone than Emery. That would get you a few series.

He looked pretty good at RB in the few touches he got. I remember thinking "who is that?" when he got some touches at RB just due to he looked like he was running harder and with more power and speed than you had been seeing from our RB position. Even though he didn't gain a lot of yards he really caught my attention and had me wondering who this new RB was. I hope he does return to LSU because he seems to have a lot of potential at RB.

I thought he looked about as good as the rest of them.

Move on man. Guess Saban, Dabo, and all the other scouts that had him as a highly rated safety can’t evaluate talent either

It’s a no lose situation for Dillon and LSU needs the numbers. Remember we were short a full roster at the beginning of the season and that number has continued to drop through the portal and NFL opt outs. Also if he is playing no one has shown him the interest he hoped for in the portal.
