Will he be remembered as the Ben Simmons of LSU football?

No. He balled out as a freshman and won a national championship.

No, just another quitter in a long series of quitters that permeated the last 5-7 years of the program.

He will be remembered as a flash in the pan who had one great year, then chose to prioritize himself over his team. In the marine corps, that mindset is known as “Hurray for me and F you.”

I mean he really was great as a freshman, but really regressed. He never seemed committed after his freshman season. I did not care for his demeanor on the sidelines as he was constantly hurt.

If he does well in the NFL, majority of this site will like him again. Maybe not to the extent that they did after his freshman year, but they will.

This insinuates he had one good year, but that he isnt a great player. Thats ridiculous. He is and will be a great corner at the next level

I wouldn’t compare him to Ben Simmons, because Simmons was on another level of not caring at all about LSU. I think Stingly will just be remembered as a decent cornerback in our history. Will not be known as an LSU great. Which is sad because he had all the potential to be!

Had ability to be an all time great. When the going got tough, quit on his team. Will get to the pros and somehow never miss a game, but we were lead to believe he was hurt his entire college outside of his freshman season. I’ll remember him as the first casualty of NIL.

No. Stingley is champion... who shut down one side of the field as an 18 yr old freshmen on a 15-0 championship run. Arguably the greatest team ever. Who worked hard, kept his mouth closed, and stayed out of trouble. Unfortunately he's had some injuries the last 2 season on two shitty .500 teams.

Same shite, different offseason for so-called LSU fans. I've never seen fans from other teams shite on their players like some LSU fans.

You guys praise Brennan playing hopscotch in the transfer portal but you shite on guys whose actually produced on the field.

Main problem is his inability to tackle or show any type of physicality. He looks like he's afraid to get hurt...

Gonna be remembered as one of the best cbs to come here. Just like chase will be one of the best wrs. You boomers need to get over players opting out. They don’t owe y’all or this university anything.

Funny how only our superstars get hurt during .500 campaigns
