You’re basing this off of one tackle where his shoulderpad happened to knock the ball out? Go back and look at that “hit”. Nothing angry about it at all

He was very physical and played violently last game. Ignorant comment.

He does have a point. I do think Stingley and his dad have been looking for a way out. He played very well his last game and showed he can be physical

Now that NFL scouts have that film, he’s done.

Stingley busted his arse last game. Have a hard time thinking he just quit after that.

I would agree. Based on his character and the way he’s played his entire career I would be very confident in that.

However, It can’t be ignored that his Dad basically publicly threatened this happening just a couple of weeks ago. If he doesn’t return we will know this wasn’t real.

It’s the world we live in. College football is not what it was. The fan bases really haven’t figured it out yet. Right now people are pretending it is what it was. Then things like this happen.

I don’t

The knock on him has been thy at he isn’t physical and avoids contact.

He proved that to be false last week. Now that the NFL scouts have that film he doesn’t have to risk anything more. Especially against Miss State that will throw 60 times where he risk getting beat a couple of times.

If he is going to shut it down, now is the perfect time.

If O doesn't announce Stingley's out, MSU would have stayed away from him and nobody would have ever known he was injured. But, we have to announce everything at LSU. Either LSU is the most snake bit injury team ever or something is really really wrong in our football program. I have never seen so many injuries of top players ever. 2 top players gone this week and we haven't even played a SEC game.
Stingley out again against MSU, I expect similar result from last year.

Just a politically correct way of saying deuces. Stingley Jr. is out of here. Thats my opinion, I could be wrong. Stingley Sr. probably behind the opt out IMO.

t it would be a lot harder for people to accuse him of of quitting if his dad didn’t go on radio shows saying that he might quit..

Wow, his Dad actually said that?

Yes. Pretty much said I have the power and I can make him opt out at any time.

Is it wrong to wait and see??? I will support him til he leaves…. Or until I find out he truly “pusses out” on us. If its true he’s being a coward, he can kiss my arse… but so far he’s been a stud for us. Im with him- at least for now…..

I found out on the Rant 24 hours before the Head Coach officially announced it.

Keep up the good work.
