macIntyre
Fleck
Mike Leach
Any of those you get for Orgeron price.
And it was MacIntyre I wanted them to wait on. If he wins the PAC-12 championship (presumably against Peterson) then he deserved a look. As far as I'm concerned he deserved a look now, considering what happened with options 1 & 2. I think he has almost as much upside as Herman, almost, with less risk. Besides, I like D guys as head coaches.
quote:if you think I'm too dumb to consider recruiting, you are mistaken. Yes the contact period running through bowl season starts tomorrow. But we've been recruiting and holding officials for 7 games under this staff with CEO at the helm. Nothing would've changed in that aspect to continue the interim tag a couple more weeks.
But not waiting assures recruits things are a solid foundation in Baton Rouge. Didn't think you'd get that far...

Think of all of the money we are saving. We got a bargain. Can't beat it.

Herman is more unproven than O

Who is the home run hire then?

Please explain to me why, after 3 months of time to search out the best coach we could find, we would rush to hire this coach? It was the first day after the season ended, and we rush to hire a coach that nobody was coming to take from us?

These people win with their recruits and have a higher ceiling.

I'm sorry, but I don't see how you can spin it any other way except that Aleva is a either total empty suit with no pull or just lazy.

It's b/c we only had 2 candidates outside the program. One of which, we could have had at the end of last season, which would not have wasted 18 returning starters this year, and put us in position to have developed QBs for years to come.
But, our poor economy and politics led to an abortion.
Ultimately, pride has led our administration to take the road most travelled by. We would rather try to save face from admitting that our taste in wine overloaded our beer pocket book. We accidentally ended up w a man w real vision making decisions, which led to a taste of something our leadership has no chance to maintain.
LSU has now cycled through and resides in its proper place. As Bama would put it, order has been restored.
