From what I understand, Jimbo's contract is fully guaranteed, meaning A&M owes him the full contract amount if they let him go, but he can leave anytime he wants and there's no buyout for him to leave.

He did. There are no buyout provisions for Jimbo or any school that hires him away from A&M.

I like Jimbo, but last year, aTm only beat two teams in the regular season with winning records (with one being Auburn who finished 6-5). That was one of the weakest top 5 finishes ever.
He has always been a good recruiter, but he has a 75-million dollar contract and the most he has had is 9 wins over there. And they look like crap this year and will probably finish with a losing record in the SEC. He hasn't really elevated aTm to the next level in any way with no SEC Championship appearances.
