I'll wait for a roster before making an assumption on record. But I'd really just like to see effort and unity on the court. Also Id like to see if he can get the seats filled.

This all depends on Blakeney and everyone els returning.

NIT = good season
Tourney = great season

So many variables at this point how could you possibly know that? Recruiting, transfers, other staff, etc. But right off the top of my head if he gets us back to break even in conference I would be happy.

Play defense and at least act like they care. Think he's gonna need a couple of years to change the mindset.

I think I really like this hire.

My first thought was "have a winning season" next year.
Then I thought ".500 in SEC play"
Then I thought "and recruit lights out" and "bring back the fans"

But finally I realized success will be "coach well, players play hard and intense, recruit new team, clean program, and make LSU BB fun again" should do the trick for year 1-3. If I see this happening, it will be real celebration time.

10 - 15 wins.

Just as I predicted at the beginnning of this past season LSU would barely get to 12 wins.

It's gonna be the same this year. LSU has zero talent on the team. It will take 1 full year and 1 year of recruiting to get at least competitive.

Well considering Johnny didn't set the bar too high, winning a couple of conference games would be an improvement, and anything above that is lagniappe!

I'll call it a success if I can actually stomach watching an LSU game start to finish. Defense, actual half court set plays, and fundamental basketball. That's all that I want to see. Watching a bunch of stud athletes run around like they're on a play ground with no direction is what killed my spirit.

I don't think you'll see a competitive team in the SEC record wise, but I don't think that would be a failure on Wade's part. I want to see a team that is at least competitive in the majority of their games. I do not want to see this team losing by 20+ points to other poor SEC teams. I also want to see more discipline from the players, and at least some semblance of an actual defensive structure and philosophy.

.400 - .500 SEC Record and a slightly overall record would be a great accomplishment with this shite show roster.

Jones won 19 his first year without half the talent this roster has.

I'd say being .500 in conference and at least being competitive in most of our losses. Ya know...general signs of life

.500 overall would be a descent season.

Maybe sign a Top 100 prospect or 2.

Maybe score a basket or two after a called timeout.

Maybe teach the team to play a little defense, occasionally.
