It was a simple question. I am wondering because I see you posting this all of the time now. Based on your failure to answer the question and your hostility towards me, I will take that as a yes.
I've never once referred to the coach as that term that you mentioned so I'm curious as to why the question was directed at me.

Jefferson had an outstanding offensive line and a running game. In each of his three years. I was in the Georgia dome for the SEC champ, game that Jefferson had 3 yards passing. I was in the super dome for JJ outstanding performance in the national championship. Far superior offensive and defensive lines.
Did you watch LSU in 2009 or 2010? Neither of those offensive lines were very good.

Don’t shoot the messenger but one of my friends is a high school coach and was at practice yesterday. He said D looked way ahead of offense , like every other team we’ve had.
Thanks for that info. I think most people who are taking a wait and see approach are just tired of hearing the exact same thing every spring about finally having a competent offense.

Wondering if this offense improvement is just a narrative like every other year.
Yeah, that's what I've been wondering as well. Some of these guys seem to be bending over backwards to convince the rest of us that this year will be different. It's like they have an agenda.
And for the record, I believe we will be more productive than the past couple of seasons, but that's not saying much.
2018: Ranked #69
2017: Ranked #54
2016: Ranked #59

If the first play of the season is a quick slant to Marshall or Chase for like a 6 yard gain this board might implode
Woah, woah, woah. . . you mean that's legal? You can just do it whenever?

O needs to stop trying to sell the offense so hard. Just makes me even more skeptical. We hear the same shite every year and every year we are ranked outside the top 100 in passing offense. Quit trying to sell me a used car and just prove it on the field.

This constant Nega-Narrative reminds me of this old joke:

A. None. They'd rather sit in the dark and bitch.

The difference between us is, I've been an LSU fan since the early to mid sixties. You're not even an LSU fan and wouldn't be posting here if Burrow hadn't transferred to LSU. And you've admitted that once the 2019 season is over, you might not even stick around.
So as old and irritating the "constant Nega-Narrative" might be for someone like you, the constant belittling and bashing of lifelong Tiger fans, from someone who isn't even an LSU fan, like yourself, is even more irritating and old.
Especially since we are on a site that is dedicated to LSU athletics.

You just got here. And you'll probably be gone once "Burreaux" leaves.
You don't really have the right to complain about any of us that have followed the team for years.

I support Orgeron and his LSU team in the here and now.

Damn joe, you're the only one here that's on a "high horse."
You're just visiting here ( like a tourist) while Burrow is a member of the football team. Trying to convince us real Tiger fans that Burrow was a top 5 quarterback last season (he wasn't), that he's just as good a quarterback as Haskins (he wasn't last football season) and that he's gonna set the world on fire this coming season and be a first round draft pick (perhaps he will, perhaps he won't), all the while acting like you know more about the LSU football program than anyone else on the rant and trying to school us on the history of LSU football.
You'd be better served to just admit that you're a big Joe Burrow fan and leave it at that. Everyone could get on board with ya then, since all of us at this point in time are big Joe Burrow fans.

Again, you are confused by, and in awe of stats. Of course Haskins stats were far better in'18. Haskins had the best overall WR room in the nation - and a scheme that was a balls-to-the-wall passing game. Burrow is and was every bit as talented a QB as Haskins - and NO, I'm not trying to convince YOU - I'm pointing out things to the "sharp knives in the drawer" on this board (there are quite a few) who appreciate a little added info that MSM sports reporting doesn't cover.
Stats are of value, but they are not the "end all and be all" of evaluating talent.

You O-Haters make this board miserable for anyone who posts anything positive about O or his program. So take your hypocritical horseshite and stick it where the sun don't shine!

You're the only one who's making it miserable. Well you and one other but I won't call him out.
I've tried to tell you numerous times, probably an error on my part, but UNTIL WE SEE AN ACTUAL CHANGE on offense for the better, fans will continue to be skeptical.
The offensive line needs work, looking at Cregg here. Both in pass protection and in run blocking. And for goodness sakes, use the TE more than just for blocking.
The OC needs work and we need to stop playing down to our opponents.
Catch the balls thrown.
That's just a few things that need to be worked on on offense and no, that isn't dogging the players at all.
This is not the equivalent of hating O or wishing he fails. Write it down.
You're the one who's jumping all over anyone who doesn't share the same opinion as yours. Which is a dumb thing to do.
We're all excited for this coming football season.

7Tiger7 posted Joe Brady's principles that will turn this offense around. From a NOLA article on Brady's talk at today's HS coaches clinic. I'll cut and paste here:
And Mark Hutson is a top-flight addition to LSU's O-Line staff. He'll help at least as much as Cregg
quote:
When LSU’s director of football operations Sam Nader read Brady’s resume, Brady took the stage and deflected. He joked his resume wasn’t as impressive as the coaches who took the stage in the 24 hours before him, people like Barry Alvarez, Bobby April, Greg McMahon and Dave Aranda.
The first thing he told about himself was simple. “I’m all ball,” Brady said. “I don’t have a wife and kids. I’m all ball.”
He said he recently looked at the bios of all his 12 receivers on the roster, and he noticed 10 were from Louisiana. He used this as a chance to thank the coaches in attendance for all the work they did to develop the talent in this state.
No, Brady didn’t break down the new LSU offense for the coaches, and no, he didn’t teach them about RPOs either. LSU wants to keep some things secret.
So he called Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael last weekend to ask his thoughts on what high school coaches might want to learn about. The first thing out of Carmichael’s mouth was spacing.
“Everybody wants the ‘let’s push the ball down the field,’ but it wears on defenses when you space them out, when you get the ball out fast, when the d-line’s having to rush and now the ball’s out and they can’t get to the quarterback,” Brady said.
While he didn’t tell trade secrets, one could still pick apart the principles he believes in. He likes sending all his receivers out, and he wants quick throws that neutralize the pass rush.
He believes in taking yards when you can get them and not being afraid to settle for a nice gain instead of always taking shots downfield. One of his favorite expressions time and time again was:
“I like checkdowns. Checkdowns lead to first downs. First downs lead to touchdowns.”
He also repeated “If they’re gonna give us a gift, take the gift,” in reference to taking free yardage when it’s there and not overthinking it.
He explained some of the lessons learned from his time in New Orleans, like how Brees always practices by going through all his progressions even if he throws it to the first read. He still just goes through the rest to train his mind and feet for when the first read isn’t open.
Brady said one of the most important things he learned from Sean Payton and the Saints was that “It’s not about beating coverages. It’s about beating who you want to beat in the coverage.”

Come on man. That's a whole lot of "he said" this..... so it must be true.
Geez.
You can throw out all the names you want but you're not convincing me that our offense will change until I see it.
