He would lie because his arse is on the line? If the head coach says that camp was a success, I'm expecting him to have his team will be ready for week 1. I don't know why anyone would expect differently.

Got it. I recall Les saying that they weren't quite there yet during the off-season or that they weren't ready to play a game yet. It doesn't have to be one extreme or the other.

I’m hearing there are some quiet concerns with some of the staff that the offense is so bad that the defense is not getting a good challenge relative to facing an SEC offense. They think this will cause some early season issues for the defense.
