I mean the difference in the UK schedule vs LSU is missing each other, they got UF and UGA and we got Ole Miss and A&M. I'd say it is a 1-2 game difference. But we lost 4 of those 6 anyway. The difference in their record and ours in the SEC is the bottom 3 results (Bama, UT, and Mizzou).

The ACC tournament is so stupid. UVA was eliminated before they even played NC State yesterday. It was a meaningless game. Especially for Virginia.

Well, it depends which way you approach it. From a pitchers and players resting stand point the ACC tournament is great. I like it. Obviously when you approach it from Virginias stand point, yes its terrible.

I am guessing that since LSU now has 10000000% chance of making the tournament, it really doesn't matter what anybody else does.

I hope so. The bubble is still pretty wide with so many teams that were tourney locks and likely #2 seeds performing so badly and so many teams that needed to make deep runs making them. Okie St, Vandy, USC, and MSU are in the same range as LSU. I think the danger is mostly out of the way if we finish UF off, but if the committee de-emphasizes tourney results then looks at road record or series head to head with USC and Vandy, they could slide us out.

American-4 in with UCF on the bubble
SEC-10 in
There are 25 other conference bids
That is 57 total plus Troy, Jacksonville St, FAU, and maybe DBU. I think there are teams that still have work to do, but now they may hurt each other (for example WVU vs. TCU). It is still a tight field, but I think we've pushed ourselves up in the pecking order. If the committee wants 9 SEC teams, I think it is a legitimate discussion to weigh MSU vs. Vandy vs. LSU vs. USC and how much weight does regular season wins count vs. tourney vs. RPI.
