Just show up (early. Doesn't have to be at the crack of dawn but I'd be at the stadium by noon, at the latest.)

And just walk up to tailgates. Seriously, I'm not messing with you. Walk up to tailgates, have your LSU gear on and explain you're visiting from Ireland and it's your first trip. You'll get fed and offered beers like there's no tomorrow. Just don't wear any Bama stuff.

Don't be shy. Walk up to random tailgates and explain that it's your first game and all. You'll get food and drinks. I guarantee it.

Have fun! Make sure you go see Mike and be at the hill (north side of the stadium) about 2 hours prior to game time to see the players and then the band come down the hill. That's a must.

Have a great time, mate!

Appreciate the advice man, enjoy the game and geaux tigers!

No way, man. People will welcome you. Just explain you're Irish and you're not pulling for Notre Dame.

Most definitely. I bumped into fans from Australia and told them the same stuff at a game.

Sometime today (if they haven’t already) LSU will post on social media a schedule of Game Day events. Don’t miss the band’s walk down Victory Hill or pre-game on the field. Those times will be listed.

You’re going to have a great time. There are no better people than my people down in Louisiana.
