Definitely looks a little like an NFL venue now.
It is much bigger, actually. It holds about 30,000 more than the average NFL stadium.

Can someone explain to me the statement that the SEZ club seats are uncovered? All the pics show they are under the level above them, just like on the sidelines. This was true even during all the construction update pics.

No flame, I'm just confused.

I don't know about looking like a NFL venue. NFL venues are much smaller and not even close to what most sec stadiums are like. The video boards, I'll give you. Most LSU, Bama, Auburn, Tenn players are disappointed when they aee their nfl home field.

Very impressive in person. Pics online don't do it justice.

Agree.

I walked into the bowl and immediately said "WOW!"

It is awesome.

Add to that character, history, passionate fans, the BEST tailgating in the world. I have been to at least 30 NFL games from Dallas to Tennessee and it cant touch what LSU has to offer in any way other than selling beer. The Superdome SUCKS and you want to talk about bad noise issues, it has the worst echo of any venue, you are a mile from the field at all levels and no tailgating!

The field is much brighter on TV at night now. There's so much more light coming the new addition.

The suites are under the Welcome to Death Valley sign ... see last photo on previous page. Seats above that appear to be uncovered .. we sit right under the suites so I can't see and appreciate the view. And I wish the NEZ had scoreboard like the ones in that same pic ... it'd be awesome.

If you spent ONE game in there, you'd disagree. The south end zone club facilities are excellent
then why are people complaining about paying the same price for higher, end zone seats that aren't covered? everyone knows that the club area is nice. that's not the problem.

no, they don't. the seats are uncovered as in, nothing overhead. west club seats are under the overhang from the upper deck

yet, geniuses are paying the same price as west club despite being higher up and in the endzone

Is impressive being in there, just could not justify a north expansion though even without all the physical logistics limitations mentioned; the west upper deck was Sparse really and think will still not be totally full except gumps maybe.
My only complaint is the PA could not hear Sat night intro in lower east!

bfniii, the new part right under the Welcome to Death Valley sign .. are those suites? There was outside seating that was covered. ABOVE the sign isn't covered. Or am I blind? We sit right under the new addition ... the outside area is covered. OR I drank too much.

I'll be another here to say that when I walked in, I was awestruck by the way the stadium looks...glad to say that we finally have top-notch audio and video in the stadium, and it is used very well...

I do have to say that the echo is a little irritating and at one point when all of the video boards and ribbons started flashing, it was a bit much...

overall, the changes were shocking and something to really be proud of...

The Suites are the 2 sections directly under the "Welcome to Death Valley" sign (they are covered).
The Club level is the 2 sections directly above the "Welcome to Death Valley" sign. They are not covered but you can walk inside if you want (to get out of the rain or heat).

Picture it this way.

Stadium seats - $
Club level seats - $$
Suite level seats - $$$$
