We just couldn't afford to lose any interior lineman... But man, this hurts. Hopefully, he will get it together off the field.

See, this potentially may not be a big deal.
If it's for the possible safety of his child.. It's not like it's over nothing..
What if she was going a bit crazy and he was trying to prevent something bad happening.. either way, seems like a minor domestic dispute..
Even if she has markings.. that doesn't mean they weren't justified. I just hope he didn't strike her or anything more physical.. but sometimes you may have to grab someone, even a female.. if they are a potential danger to your child.

In the 80s I took my kids to Mexico and finished raising them in a sane culture where the male still has the upper hand, unlike the feminized USA...once wrote wrote it all down in "Gringo Daddy"...and my two kids turned out great...btw...although I lost a sizable inheritance...but I came back and made it back on my own grit and determination...

Godchaux had apparently been hit too.
No one knows what really happened. If she was 'not in right state of mind' I dont hold it against him for doing what he had to to keep child out of danger. He obviously didnt really try to hurt her or he would have.

A ticked off woman can be more deadly than the police. One of my employees broke up with his wife. She went to his new apartment and forced him to remove her from his apartment. He went to jail for domestic abuse.
Hopefully something close to the truth comes out. Whether she was in the wrong or not you should never put your hands on a woman. Nothing good will come of it.

Some of you people are miserable human beings and LSU football will fall into an abyss with people like you! Eat a brick!! All of you negative people, I told you so bullshite can all go eat a brick! Swallow the damn brick too. Might make you feel better. This team needs a change and it will be rough but LSU will pull thru with the correct leadership and if that means going from the top down well then that's what LSU needs to do. The people meddling in LSU sports needs to now step out of the way. Just like what Miles was doing wasn't working well what y'all are doing isn't working either. Step down and all you negative people get a life.

This season is shot, gone, DOA. Godchaux was gone to the NFL this year anyway. There is almost zero reason to think this is gonna make a huge difference.

Unfortunatley for Godchaux, and the LSU football team, the public expects him to be punished no matter the circumstances. The zero tolerance public relations requirement will force the hand of LSU to punish Godchaux based on the fact of the arrest without regard to circumstances.
