David Pollack: Talked Trash on LSU then Picked them to Win

He talked trash and picked LSU to lose to Georgia and Oklahoma. Then leading up to the NC game he was pro-Clemson and had a love-fest with Lawrence, Dabo, and Venables. But right before kickoff he picks LSU to win, I nearly fell out of my chair in shock and surprise. Guess he got the you better support the SEC message in the Big Easy after all.

He picked the best team to win. He "Swallowed" his pride and acted like an expert instead of a bitter, curb stomped, loser from 2003.

It's pretty obvious that many talking heads were propping up Clemson in order to build the intrigue and hype for this game (i.e. maximize viewership).

Absolutely. Their livelihood relies on the popularity of sports.
All sports talk show types are in it for the $$$. They are salespeople. Nothing more.

Man some of y'all are reaching for reasons to complain, some people picked LSU some didn't, some talked up Clemson. Who cares, enjoy the victory and watch the replay
