Williams was garbage this year for whatever reason. We have to upgrade our #2 back, by whatever means. I am suspect of Ducre, though, as almost all really good RBs play much more in their 1st 2 years. Even with guys like Fournette and Guice ahead of them. There's a reason he never gets any carries.

I think Darrell Williams needs to get in better shape for next year. I still want to see Donte Jackson get touches on offense as a scatback type player with that speed. If Savion Smith or Kristian Fulton emerge, that needs to happen.

Darrell's vision could be better. Fast Wide receivers will thrive on the Jet sweeps and also be excellent decoys to freeze the linebackers in Canada's offense. LSU hasn't had a shortage of running backs in decades. I'm not worried about having a serviceable running back.

When your QB is only serviceable, you need a stud RB. We are a Guice sprained ankle away from being very average at both QB and RB. Canada would have to really earn his paycheck figuring out creative ways to get those stud receivers the ball without much of a running game.

I know we have been spoiled by Hill, Fournette and now Guice but the 2018 group is good enough. Brossette, Ducre, and Helaire reminds me of the 2012 version of Hillard, Blue, and Mcghee. They may not be household SEC names, but the can get the job done. I am also looking forward to Brossette having a break out year.

He should be moved to RB, not just gadget FB like some expect he could be under Canada. Leave that to Mouton.

I never understood why he was listed as a FB anyway. D'onta Foreman and Samaje Perine were 240+ their first year starting. He shares a lot of similarities with Foreman, as he is big, fast, and breaks a lot of tackles. He's the second most talented "RB" we have.

And people down voted me when I said I'd take Travis Etienne over Devonta Smith if it came down to the last spot.

Ducre will be getting a surge of use in the time moving forward. Just wait and watch. He has paid his dues, and he will emerge in a big way in the 2017-2018 timeframe.
I agree with you on this THECEO. Or at least the probability, barring something unforseen, is there. He's putting in the work. It will show.

Williams would be better served to drop down to about 220lbs. He is currently 233. I know he's tall but he runs very stiff and would have better acceleration and cutting at 220lbs. If Ducre is being considered for a RB vs FB he would likely need to do the same. Bigger isn't always better.

I'm actually not sure where he's projected to play.
Yeah but on offense or defense. I'd like to see what he can do running the ball.

We don't need just a rb, we need a beast. Guice is a beast and has that desire and talent that sets him above others. We need more of that!
