Edwards and Shores
Edwards and shores made this team the undeniable number 1. Losing them after all the other injuries sucks but it is still amazing we have a legitimate chance at getting to omaha. Credit the coaches for that.
If a few things can click for just a couple guys in the bull pen then I would like our chances to win it all.

Unless things drastically change I think for us to make Omaha we CANNOT lose a single game in the regional, if we have to play 4 games there it's going to be incredibly difficult on us. If we put ourselves in a position we have to play 5 games, good lord, we'll be completely devoid of any pitching left playing 5 games in 4 days. Winning those first 2 games in the regional are a must IMO.
Super regional is less risky in the sense you only play 3 games max, even if the opponent is technically tougher, you use less pitching than a regional generally speaking.

I agree with you there. Things are gonna have to go our way and we will need some luck to make a run in the post season. That could be said for most teams, though.
I don’t believe we are the clear cut #1 team right now by any means but the sky is falling mentality is ridiculous. We sweep two teams in a row, lose a very close series to an hot auburn, then admittedly look like Pooh this weekend.
We aren’t as good as some people originally thought and we definitely aren’t as bad as many people right now are wanting us to be.

Anyone who agrees Vandy should be over LSU just proves the point they don’t watch or follow any baseball teams outside of LSU

Surprised he doesn't have Ole Miss in the top five

If you look at our lineup, we're #1. If you look at our bullpen, we're last.
Exactly, but when your offense puts up 13 and that’s still not enough for the bullpen, then the bullpen issues outweigh the potency of the lineup. It’s unfortunate, but it is what it is!

Yeah they're 1-5 the last two weekends with a 11-36 scoring margin.
