I wear mine hunting all the time. In all sorts of boots. Wear them in work boots in the middle of summer and hiking boots for Elk as well in winter. Rubber boots for turkey in the spring.

Nice

I only wear smartwool but lately they have started holing over time. It’s not the same product that it was a few years ago

I’ll pick up a pair of Tough Socks

As someone else posted earlier, a good pair of socks is a great investment

First two pair were purchased on Amazon and the heels wore thin in about a year. Sent them in for a return and was informed that both pair were fake. As a courtesy, theysent me a promo code for two free pair from their website.

Most of my adult life I suffered with hot feet when driving for work. My feet would sweat and stink. Merino wool socks are absolutely worth it and are all I own.

Alpaca socks are also great.

Overall, they're nothing special.

Agreed.

But your story about them wearing out in one day is 100% bs. I’ve warn them many many days on the flight line with zero issues.

Don't care if y'all believe it or not. Packed them new in wrapper. First time I put them on was in WY. Hiked/stalked for about an hour. By the time I took my first stop they were already worn through. Used bandaids from my first aid kit to cover my heels. Switched socks when I went back to the lodge later that morning.
