Speaks to how bad the QB play is in the SEC than it does to where Etling stands.

the "great" QBs in the nation would have issues throwing against Florida, Alabama, LSU, Georgia...

I guess sucks maybe a strong word for him, but he is a very limited QB.

His QBR is inflated because of how he's passing.

He isn't throwing into tight windows or making any out of the ordinary type plays. He's hitting wide open guys and that's pretty much it.

Tape doesn't lie breh

He misses the simplest of reads TIME AND TIME again, and is not very accurate. He gives 100% and is a warrior, and is clearly our best option at this point.

First off you do know Rohan gained a lot of his yards on bubble screens right? Secondly I don’t have to compare them the facts are there I didn’t create them. Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean it’s not true.

Patterson had 3 times as many interceptions against LSU as Etling has had on the season. Just saying...

Shea Patterson has thrown the ball 260 times this season. Danny Etling has thrown the ball 155 times this season.

Etling has completed 10 total passes to wide receivers in the past 3 games. 120 of his 200 yards vs Ole Miss were by a pass that traveled 5 yards behind the LOS or to Foster Moreau in a complete busted coverage. Ole miss dropped NINE PLAYERS into coverage and Etling bailed out of the pocket after less than a second. On a two man rush. He can't progress through more than one read, he puts his head down and runs far too early, and he panics at pressure that isn't even there. If you think he's a good quarterback you are delusional.

Etling has 10 passes for 40 yards or more in 8 games. Guess which LSU QB has more in a single season? Btw if your answer is Rohan, Mauck, Jruss, Flynn or Mett you’re wrong.

I have never heard of a designed underthrow to a wide open receiver.

You posted QB Rating, not QBR
Wrong.

What I posted was a screenshot of a statistic from a credible sourcw.
Certainly, you posted a screenshot of a statistic from a credible source.

The statistic you posted is QB Rating or Passer Rating.

You called it QBR in your title, but it is not QBR.

QBR is garbage. You actually posted a better statistic than QBR.

But you'd rather argue about it.

Dude, you made a mistake.

Your title is wrong.

Yal keep bitching about his arm and who he throws too. Wtf does that have to do with anything smartass? He makes more big plays with the weakest supporting cast in the past 20 years that’s the point so stfu and enjoy him or frick off and root for USL.

Bubble screens require an accurate dart thrown to an exact location at the perfect time to actually work. It takes a split second to get off and Davey could deliver fastballs accurately. It is not a throw Etling could make consistently.

HE doesn't suck. He's not a bad quarterback. He is just one that can put the team on his shoulder and win the game at the end. He is average at best.

At one time average is all LSU needed. DE on the 08-11 may have resulted in another championship.

if Etling can perfect the back shoulder throw to Chark, it will be there all day in man coverage vs bama.

that one perfection can open the run game up

It’s the exact same throw he made to Williams it’s the exact same play. You people are truly amazing.

He has more 40 yard pass plays after 8 games than Rohan Davey 2001, Matt Mauck 2003, Jamarcus Russell 2006, Matt Flynn 2007 and Zach Mettenberger 2013 had in those entire seasons.

I would take everyone of those over him. The play calling with Etling reflects an OC that doesn't trust or believe in him.
