Jaden is getting a lot of heat, but did he give up 45 points in defense or miss blocks that allowed our running game to falter or miss wide multiple catches? Point being, Jayden is not the sole reason for the defeat: it was a team effort in the loss and EVERYONE needs to play better moving forward.

No one thinks he is the "sole" reason for us losing. This is a team sport, a lot of dudes play and affect the game

That doesn't change the point. The offense looked lost with Jaden at QB. We knew the D was gonna struggle with weak DB play, and we expected JD to make a leap to help compensate. He did not.

The quarterback is the only player on the team to touch the ball every single down he's on the field.

Who said he was? The fact is, Daniels does not make anyone better. He can not see the field. His first instinct is to run.

I don’t hate him and actively pull for him, but he is limited and is not improved. He is not the only reason we lost but if he made better reads we could have kept it close

I don’t hate Daniels but this is big time football and his ego “running” is not going to get us to a natty

Actually, it’s the Center, but carry on.

I've been a big supporter of his and thought he would get it figured out in time.
There have been flashes, but he is who he is. Has not progressed, can't diagnose pre-snap. It looks the same as it did last year. Guys were open and he's just staring at them until he gets a chance to run.

Haven’t seen anyone blame only him. But he is probably our second biggest problem to Matt house and he displayed the same issues from last year. Issues that Nuss doesn’t have. Is Nuss better than JD? Idk. But it’s time to find out for more than a game or two.

Let’s be honest, there have been a multitude of posts since last night that have made the exact claim of it all being Jayden’s fault.

But, better play on his part keeps fsu’s offense off the field. And the receivers are part of that also. And the defensive front for not getting to the qb also. I’m not so hard on the secondary because a lot of plays were made when Travis Daniels was scrambling in the backfield. Hard to contain receivers for that long.

He doesn’t deserve all of the blame, BUT

If you’re going to blame the defense for giving up 45 points I can absolutely blame the offense for not scoring a single point for the first 29 minutes of the 2nd half.

I’ve seen plenty of people complaining about JD since last night. I haven’t seen a single person say he was the sole reason for the loss.

Daniels Haters

He’s a 5th yr guy, 2nd yr in system and is indecisive, won’t take deep shots and not very accurate….all signs that he hasn’t grown since last year. Puts up stats, but doesn’t sustain drives and get across the Goal line. This was his issue last year. He’s limited and is severely limiting the offense.

Pointing that out isn’t being a “hater”.

Teams won’t and don’t respect his passing game. They will continue to play the run and contain him. They’ll give up 1-2 big plays but know he won’t consistently beat them over the top and teams are perfectly fine with that. FSU was daring LSU to go deep.

There’s plenty of blame to go around. OL / running game sucked. Denbrock play calling…sheesh. Perk at ILB needs to be aborted. But JD had these same issues last year.

Everyone agreed at the end of last year that Daniels needed to take a step forward if he was to continue to be the QB at LSU

He did not. That’s why people are on him

I admit I haven’t seen every post but I definitely saw people saying that if Nuss plays, we win.

We were in the red zone 6 times early. 17 points in 6 red zone trips isn’t conducive to winning. Could’ve had 35+ points at half, that’s a different ballgame.

Right, and that's taking into consideration that we have a laundry list of fricked up things about the way they played last night. But that's not the same thing as saying that Daniels is the sole reason. That's saying that even with all the fricked up shite, maybe Nuss could have kept us ahead a few scores so who knows what would have happened in the 4th quarter.
