He leads the Minnesota Vikings in sacks. Has one tonight versus the Dallas Cowboys.

One of the biggest waste's of talent in LSU history, perhaps.

A DE getting 8.5 sacks in the NFL is absolutely HUGE. The fact that he was not more dominant in college is just a travesty.

Chavis scheme wasn't really built for lineman to shine. But our linebackers had the bulk of tackles. Shep, Minter, and Alexander were all tackling machines.

Yes. I thought he underperformed at LSU. Nice to see him making a mark in the pros.

Bull fricking shite. Read about him. When he got to the Vikings,he didn't know anything. They asked what LSU had him do and he said either rush the QB or sit and contain. There was no coaching.

LSU had numerous successful pass rushers under Chavis. Hunter wasn't one of them, and it wasn't cause they didn't ask him to rush

What? He was a beast for us his last year. He completely shut down his side of the field against the run.
He had 70 tackles. The 3rd most of any dlineman in cfb.
In no way was his talent wasted.

He was the best de, against the run ,in his last year here.

You know what I mean. He could have been a QB killer too.

Yeah the people that say Hunter wasnt great here dont realize there is more to playing de than sacks.

Ill take 70 tackles and 4 sacks over 9 sacks and 35-40 tackles.

Ok but he wasnt a wasted talent. Sure his sack numbers are low but he was still the best run stopping de in cfb. But yeah I'd like to have seen him gey more sacks.
