It's a sad day. I've been dreading waking up to this news. My first thoughts were he has joined his wife, so I know he is happy & he is home. RIP Don Long.

His site is a daily read for me too. Very sad. But now he is in a better place and with his wife. Prayers for the Longs.
I know he had been sick lately and battling cancer. Anyone know any more details? They've been pretty private about his condition on their site.

He's in a better place. My thoughts are with his family. I'm sure they have been through a lot with his long illness.

RIP - very sad news.
I hope LSU recognizes him this fall at least at the home opener if not something more.
