I would recommend Duck Dog Basics DVD with Chris Akin. Also enjoyed and learned from Water Dog. I was in your shoes 3 years ago and these helped. They wont teach you everything because your dog will react to things differently than any book or dvd. But they will help.

defiantly agree with keeping it simple, I over seasoned last go around. I was thinking something along these lines.

3 1/2 pounds duck or goose meat
1 1/2 pounds pork shoulder (make sure it’s fatty)
1/3 cup fresh marjoram or oregano, chopped
2 tablespoons minced garlic
38 grams kosher salt, about 2 heaping tablespoons
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh ground black pepper
2 teaspoons ground mustard
1 tablespoon caraway seeds
1 cup red wine, chilled

Maybe sub Green Onion for Oregano. Also considering trying some jap/cheese figure it would be like the bacon wraps I usually do.

Dalton or Cutler

Dalton Vs Steelers

Cutler VS Browns

Got get that money mane, thanks for the advice
In a very similar situation Wade Phillips came in to the Texans and took them from 31st to 3rd over all D with the same players for the most part.

As mentioned above I'd be happy with just getting to middle of the pack.
Hooked on Costa Rica

It was about 5 year ago, the guys name is cpt josh he is American from fla he took excellent care of us. Any he was able to provide anything we asked for. :usa:

We caught 4 sail fish.

The rooster fishing inshore is awesome so that maybe an option if you don't have all day or want to keep the cost down

I will add I have watched Vaccaro since he was a freshman and he is a gamer. Dude plays with a lot of emotion and he will hit you.

That being said I just hope we aren't saying we could of had him in three years referring to Jones, bc he will more than likely be a baller in pittsburg.

Watching the draft last night I realized there are two things you can always count on #1 the steelers will always just wait there turn and have a really talented player who everyone knows is good fall to them, and #2 the Patriots will always trade back with a desperate team looking to trade back into the late first and get a ton of value for it.

This is freaking awesome/crazy LINK
Thank all. It's probably just more reps. We work basics in the mornings before work, I can command sit and walk to distance of about 50 yards and he is solid, can even throw dummies from that distance and he won't break. I'm not in a panic about it happening just looking for ideas I may have not thought of or researched to save us both some pain and time

This is my first working dog and I really enjoy training him. Can't wait for next weekend (dove opens here), LSU football, brisket, whiskey, and pork belly...God bless America :usa:
I have been working with my year old lab, he is doing very well at sitting on whistle command by my side. Whistle blows and his butt hits the ground no problem. He is very steady and is solid on triple retreives.I have started him on a basic blind retrieve drill, a simple lining drill to a pile of dummies. We are in the early stages but I feel he is progressing well. However trying to stop him on the way to the dummy pile has been a challenge. When he hears the whistle he reacts one of two ways. #1 he ignores #2 he comes back to me. I am correcting with e-collar as best I can.Any tips that's have worked for you in the past will be much appreciated.
T Swoops and RSJ are tight. Just sayin
His junior highlights posted earlier are one of the best tapes ever IMO.

Alabama shakes would get my vote
This may be old news to some, but I was just introduced to Adam Carroll and I have really been enjoying him.The album live at cheatum st, is awesome , I would describe him as a first class story teller with a bob dylanish style that is understandable . He is based in Austin but has a lot of references to La and Texas in his music,

Give it a try if you've never heard it. Anybody else a fan?

Pintail or Redhead this year, but thinking about the first bird my rookie dog brings back, which will be a blue wing.
