I started reading his columns when I was in high school and still check then now and again. Reminds me of my grandpa who always puts things into perspective with a positive spin. Will always love the old guy as a true Tiger fan!

I read dandy's Thanksgiving message every year, and every year I tear up. It reminds me of the stories of how my mom's family grew up.
Him saying that this year will likely be his last is particularly sad.
I'ma hate to lose him as a Tiger fan, but I have no doubt that if Heaven has a front porch, he'll be up there with his mom and dad singing, and shelling beans.
