Before getting to those keys, there’s some news to pass along regarding suspended offensive lineman Ed Ingram. Yesterday afternoon, linebacker Michael Divinity tweeted, “They Freed My Dawg Big Ed! #70 Is Back!” Later, the tweet was deleted, and an LSU official reportedly said the reports of him returning to the team are premature and that nothing is official at this time. Still, it appears that all parties involved are moving toward a resolution, which could be great news for LSU’s offensive line. Ingram has not been practicing with the team but has been working out on his own, and it shouldn’t take long to get him acclimated once he is officially reinstated.

Huge news for this team.

Ingram at guard makes LSU’s chances of beating Bama better.

If he's cleared, I'd put money on Ingram starting at LG by Florida. Magee is a solid backup and Hines is still raw.

TL. You want to hear something really crazy? The reason Ingram’s case has taken so long according to my LSU source is that the judge is pregnant. A young man’s entire life has been placed on hold because the judge handling this case kept having to delay it to deal with her pregnancy. How is this fair?

Not sure who’s policy he was suspended under (LSU or NCAA), but for NCAA violations, you can’t use a redshirt year. See Fulton

Eh, unfortunately I've had to go through the system like that before and they don't always care about the people involved. Sometimes it's just a big money grab.

Then Texas DA wanted to prolong motions until after the UT game. We need him back badly.

If that’s true they should have reassigned the case

Leave him alone. He's just a guy that hangs around the periphery of LSU Sports and does his thing, and that's okay. IMO Tigerdroppings is the definitive source for LSU football related insider information. I really enjoy TD.

Scott Long has a nice site, but it's just that.....a nice site on LSU sports. Most of his "breaking news" stories on LSU Sports have already splashed on TD.

This is not an update. They've technically been "moving toward a resolution" since the second he was suspended.

Nothing splashes on TD lol, every thread is a second hand source at best.
