.... yes he did

What has he done since 2011?

If LSU wanted to give him a raise for last season when he won an SEC championship and took LSU to the BCS title, Alleva would have done it then, not a year later.

Alleva caved because of Arkansas. Argument over.

so who should i believe....Alleva (who i have no reason not to believe), or some dude on a message board who has an obvious agenda against Miles.

hmmm...thats a tough one.

The graduation rate is also second in the SEC to just behind Vanderbilt. That's a really great achievement.

One of the best in his business, but I sort of disagree with him here. The talks were never serious enough to worry about Miles leaving.

It's another agent embellished rumor everyone ran with.

Said LSU should tell Miles if this happens again, they will fire him on the spot and bring someone else in to coach LSU.

I've heard from headhunters in my business (advertising) that you're allowed one opportunity to go to your employer with another offer. You do it a second time and they'll wish you good luck or let you go. Of course, this is not etched in stone, but neither is it unprecedented. In the case of Miles, if he approached me a second time with a competing offer, I'd probably let him go. I like Les a lot; I'm a Miles fan ... but I also know there are other great candidates out there. Plus, it's not a bad idea to bring in fresh people from time to time.

Just like Les Miles coaches a 4 loss team 2 years in a row LSU will continue to honor their contract with him, right?

These contracts don't mean a whole lot. They are not a requirement to stay with the program, they get broken by both sides ALL the time.

For the record your going to the peach bowl what the frick are you so fired up about?

That I get to tell all of the A&M fans that surround me every day to STFU.

Are you serious though? I am fired up that we have a great coach with a long-term contract and one of the best fricking programs in the country. It wasn't too long ago that we weren't, and if we hired a different coach afer Saban, we might not be at this level now.

Man, there are so many ungrateful, disrespectful people in this world. I don't know if it is because I am now old and wise at 30, but I want to punch so many people right in their dickfaces.

God im so sick of you morons.

Have you never had anyone offer you a job while you had another? Oh no? because you probably suck at your job.

I presume you are not a lawyer. There would be no multimillion dollar law suit, not even one for $1. There were no damages suffered by anyone. You can't recover for a breach of an agreement when there are no damages. Miles didn't suffer damages from the leak (and probably couldn't prove who leaked the info anyway).
