At first I thought this thread was full of trolls, but now it's evident that you idiots out there sincerely believe that CLM should be fired for "entertaining" another offer. Incredible. Do you have any idea how many coaching changes would take place each yr if that criteria was used to fire/keep a HC in college sports?? Nicky did it EVERY yr. That is what Sexton's job is & it's safe to say CLM's agent is no dummy either.What HC in the country would want to come to a school where the former HC won 80% of his games..etc etc etc..and was run off for "entertaining" another offer?

He was due a bump up since mediocre coaches were approaching his pay level but he should have the "chest" to go see Alleva directly and avoid this media circus.
Somewhere out in recruiting land, an SEC school used this to its advantage.
