I agree….im not sure Weeks would have changed the outcome of the game BUT I bet he would have tackled Milroe for moderate gains a couple times when he went off and the same for the Bama RBs.

He’s not doing the little things right…still wearing his underwear inside out to get an extra days use, doesn’t chew his food the recommended 32x before swallowing, etc

It seems BK values seniority, when it comes to players not name Perkins.

I agree with this. And it’s fricking stupid.

Penn has not been nearly as bad as Speights Speights literally avoids filling the run fits. He is always filling the wrong gap and never closes on ball carriers. I watch him a lot and he is always out of position avoiding the contact that is necessary. When he is on the field it is like we are playing with ten. Just don’t understand it.

Nothing I hate more than coaches not playing the best players. Who gives a shite if he's a freshman.

Well it’s not working Speights is a sinking ship and Kelly would rather drown than let Weeks get a fair shot that’s piss poor coaching

He can’t line up the fricking defense guys. The guy stated in an interview. That’s why he’s not playing over Speights. Get a fricking clue. When he play yes he made several tackles, but our defense was out of place the entire game.

Would hate to see him go, but would not blame him at all if he went somewhere else. If he did not prove his value early in the year then why stay?

Womack played.

He blew contain on a rush and Milroe made a big run behind it.

Whit played per participation, I'm guessing all on special teams.

Weeks is a speed missile that can tackle. Needs to be on the field!

The only one exposed continually was Ryan.

Ryan had an easy pick 6 opportunity if he was any type of aggressive DB. That play where he missed the open field tackle against the WR was it.

Milroe had to make that throw from the far hash mark. That ball was in the air for a very long time but Sage is soft. He was already playing off coverage & immediately back pedals at the snap. Milroe sees that & makes a throw across the field just past the line of scrimmage. Even with Ryan back pedaling at the snap, the throw is in the air long enough for him to arrive almost as the ball gets to the receiver. If he simply doesn't give ground at the snap & breaks on the ball instantly, it's an easy pick 6. Not only did he miss that game changing interception opportunity but he misses the tackle allowing extra yardage to be gained.

Penn has absolutely been killing us. Replace him with Weeks.

Not as much as Omar Speights. He was much better than Speights on Saturday and actually had our hardest hit of the game along with a few other nice tackles. I can't think of anything that Speights did well. Not sure what the issue is with him or if he is just not talented enough to play in the SEC, but he struggled mightily.

The only thing that makes sense is BK promised Speights and 2 (Ogoubufu?) playing time. I mean 2 can’t do much and obviously was processed by Texas but he’s out there starting every week.
