Before him was Harry Rabenhorst, Bob Pettit, and Pete Maravich that was so worthy as to give his dad the HC job which was over his level and/or deserved pedigree, all of which helped intrigue the surging Asst Coach Brown when offered, but in terms of as a "program"..."LSU Hoops" had for the most part truthfully yet to exist, despite the prior mythical national title from an era where the NIT was the premier tourney of the day..

Coach Brown is easily one of the greatest LSU Men ever!

LE wrote a letter to the Advocate saying he felt pressured to make crap up. Apologized to Brown.

A booster was found to have given $5000, so the NCAA descended on Brown with a vengeance.

Here's some things you'll find even funnier A. Like a true NEGATIGER , you brought up Brady, not me. B. What exactly have I not given TJ credit for? I did not say a word about the things he has done that NEGATIGERS like you crucified Brady for, such as: having a high school preseason schedule, not winning some of those games very convincingly, getting a technical foul at a crucial time during the bama game, getting blown through the roof by Utah, leading Xavier 50-47 before going on a 10 minute scoring drought (sound familiar?) and losing by 10, players consistently missing free throws at crucial times, having a 12 point lead last night before going on another 7 minute scoring drought (sound familiar?) while firing contested and uncontested 3-pointers until the lead was lost, standing emotionless and watching this happen (I guess he gets credit from NEGATIGERS for standing and not sitting). Having said that, I'm all for Trent. Just wanted to hold the mirror up for you NEGATIGERS to get a good look at yourselves. Oh, and here it is in Trent's own words - "If a couple of these players had not been injured last year, I would not be the coach at LSU".
