You are probably in your twenties and you have no idea what this man accomplished and the odds he overcame to get the program into the national spotlight. Dale took a moribund program and built it into a national power which went head to head with the elites of college basketball for 15 years with two trips to the Final Four, 4 SEC titles and a tournament title, two elite eight trips and All Americans including Macklin, Shaq, and Chris Jackson with multiple All SEC players. He is very deserving ofthis honor.
