Post your year(s) and age and if it was overnight or commuter. Any top players that were also there.

Summer of 1981 - I was going into my HS Sophomore year.
Overnight Camper

Don Redden was the top recruit also attending.

Greg 'Spiderman' Perkins of St. Amant was on my 5 on 5 team. (Played for Tigers in 82-83).

Theron Cojoe of Destrehan was another top player at camp (played for Tigers 82-84 and played for UNO 85-87).

The 'Ralph' large wooden 7' 4" body with arms on hinges in the PMAC basement court was my favorite memory. We had to post up against a simulated 'Ralph Sampson' and try to shoot over it (it felt like throwing a basketball up a chimney to get it over (I was 6' 1")

Summer of 1993, summer before my freshman year. Got a picture with Shaq outside of the field house after some dude stole the hood ornament off his Cadillac.

Loved that camp experience.

Shaq’s incoming freshman year.

Met him. Got a picture He was wearing a Dominique Wilkins Hawks jersey.

Christ Jackson down on the practice court of the PMAC shooting. Basically all of the campers sat around the court and just watched him make swish after swish

Dorm at night: they used to tell you to bring a flashlight with you. I brought one. Shaq’s younger brother Jamal was on our floor. Somehow he got my flashlight while we were playing g flashlight wars. He stuck it in his mouth to make his mouth light up. Tried to give it back to me. I told him that he could keep it. Lol

1979 vs. Bama. Bama was supposed to be all that. I can’t remember their center’s name, but he was good. Bama’s first time down the court with the ball, C gets it and goes at Tree Green one-on-one, and Green blocks his shot into the 3rd row of the bleachers and we went crazy. Bama didn’t stand a chance, beat them 86-66 and dropped the SEC Championship banner before the end of the game. One of my favorite sports memories!

1981 as a 9 year old. 1987 as a sophomore in high school. Both were awesome. Still remember how he took time to try to coach everyone up as young kids. Then as a high schooler his motivational speeches during camp were great.

I went 2 years back to back when I was in jr high when Shaq, Chris Jackson and all the crew were at LSU. The things that stick out to me most were Dales speeches everyday and at night the LSU players played pickup games in the dungeon and we got to watch. What a memory that was.
