D1 Regional Projections: May 27 - LSU #5 Seed

Paired with the Auburn regional:
Called it yesterday Clemson would hop us at #4 in today’s projection since they’re the hottest team in America. Regional gets a a little bit tougher if LSU does slide. Maryland can smash the ball and Nicholls as a 4 seed has a Friday ace.

Also, LSU falls out of the top 10 in the ELO formula rankings after yesterday for the first time this season:

It will be completely different again tomorrow but Nicholls as a 4 seed in LSUs regional is getting more and more evident. 1 win away for them.

That would be a disaster of a super. I really don't want to be paired with another SEC team for supers.

But I was told on here that the SECT didn’t matter. I get the idea behind that but recency bias is going to be on people’s minds no matter what the resume looks like for the first 90% of the season

I guess the SEC tourn does mean a little something. Another win or two would have done us some good for seeding purposes. I really do not want to play another SEC team in a Super.
