How do you even know if they suck or not 3 games in? Weren't they last in their conference last season?

Most of the other teams ahead of us went 3-0 too. The only losses ahead of us were Vandy and USCe, who still won their series. Not enough to really justify bumping us up yet.

They were a regional team a year ago. They don't suck.

First time following college baseball? Most polls don't move teams for a few weeks, and even those moves require a series loss to move. Most polls don't seem to care if you win a series 2-1 or sweep 3-0.

Cal State Fullerton is 1-2 with one loss coming to Alabama State and they remained in the top 25. Oklahoma state is also 1-2 and they check in at 19, a spot ahead of Alabama who won their opening series by a combined score of 36-0

Basically, these rankings mean about as much as the poop I took this morning.

Looks like a lot of other teams went 3-0 too

And LSU gave up significant runs in 2 of the 3 games

Honestly, give one legitimate reason why this should ruffle even one feather.
I truly hope you're being sarcastic.

Well none of the teams above them lost a series and only 2 of them even lost a game.

Rankings this early in a baseball season is truly meaningless.

Bingo. Can't drop a SC for losing one game to C of C (a Super Regional team last year).

Or the No. 1 team in the nation (preseason of course), losing one game to a respectable Santa Clara.

Let me try this again, I do not understand the difference in standings when it comes to D! Baseball.com ratings in contrast to the other polls listed below:

Baseball America: No. 2 (Last Week: 2)

Collegiate Baseball: No. 4 (LW: 4)

CB Writers Association: No. 4 (LW: 4)

Perfect Game: No. 6 (LW: 7)

D1 Baseball.com: No. 9 (LW: 9)

What are they seeing different from the other polls and I know it's early but its not even close in comparison. This is not meant to piss anyone off and it is definitely not my first season.
